I am behind a little. I just flew back from Chicago for the weekend. I will have my H.P. Mallory review completed shortly. On another note; there's an ice storm going on outside. Perfect night for reading. Toodles!

Back 2 school

Twas the night before return to school and all through the house...kids are screaming but not me and the spouse...so happy we are that school is near...we go to sleep early with not any fear....ahhhh...school is open tomorrow..I know the parents out there can understand. I'm just going to give a quick update on my current read..Jolie is preparing to go to battle unbeknownst to Rand. She is enlisting the help of Sinjiin and Mathilda to get ready. I won't drop any spoilers but Rand is currently not speaking to her because of an incident with Sinjiin. Toodles you all until next time.

Today

I am beginning "Toil and Trouble" by H.P. Mallory today. I plan on having it finished within a few days and will give a full review. I completed the previous book last night and could not wait to wake up today to start this one. At the end of the last book, Jolie had secured the help of the Fairy King (spoiler sorry) in the battle against Bella. I will tell more as I read the second installment of the Jolie Wilkins series.

Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble Review

I have just stumbled upon H.P. Mallory thanks to BN's 99 cent sale on ebooks. "Fire Burn and Cualdron Bubble" is her first book in the Jolie Wilkins series. I dare say this book will delight those of that enjoy light paranormal romance. It is fresh. Different. I have found myself clapping for Jolie and wanting to smack her at the same time.
Quick synopsis of the book...Jolie Wilkins is your average frumpy thinking psychic. In walks Rand and her life changes from there. She discovers she is witch of enormous power. Unfortunately there are those that would want to control her power to subdue all other nightworld creatures. There of course is (Bella) a love story that is so passionate it makes me want to tear my own clothes off. Although..it is very tastefully done and not super erotic(ewwwwww). I don't want to give too much away but Jolie is captured by Bella, fang raped by a vampire and that's all i'm giving up. You have got to get this book.
I believe this will be a great series. I will beginning the second book in the series "Toil and Trouble"..also on sale at BN for $2.99 on Saturday. I try to read at least 5 to 7 books a month. I am new at this blogging. Actually, this is my first. I want to share my love and passion for reading with everyone. My attempt will be to blog a review on every book I read.
